The Greek park in Odessa has already been designed, but not yet built. The city authorities plan to complete works on its design and improvement in late 2018. What will it be like?
The Greek park is a continuation of the park complex along the main promenade of Odessa. Its territory begins from the authentic ruins of an ancient fortress. The main features of the park will be the presence of a large number of terraces and Greek sculptures. In the center of the park a sculpture of Neptune will stand, a small copy of the Neptune fountain in the Italian Villa d’Este (Italy, Tivoli) built in 1661.
In the center of Odessa there is a lot of architecture in classical style, sculptures on the theme of Greek mythology, therefore the Greek park will organically complement this ensemble.
